Grammys 2014: My Favorite Beauty Trends

Did anyone else tune into the Grammy Awards last night? I have to say, I absolutely love to watch for beauty trends, and this is one of my favorite events of the year when it comes to pin-pointing what is truly on trend. So, what were some of my favorite looks from Sunday night? Read on to find out!

Taylor Swift - Let's be honest, Taylor always looks absolutely fabulous, both on the red carpet and off. But tonight especially she was dazzling and darling. Her semi-low pony tail was on-trend and glamorous, and paired beautifully with her beaded, metallic dress. She also paired he smoky cat-eyes with a metallic pop on the inner-corners, which really made her eyes stand out and matched her dress perfectly! Don't forget the baby pink lipstick to finish it off! Bravo, Taylor.

Beyoncé - Yet another trend-setter is Beyonce, and she was just as on point this evening as she always is. Post-performance, B took to a gorgeous white gown, and paired her simple eye makeup with a beautiful deep-red shade of lipstick. I am also totally in love with her blonde bob, it goes perfectly with her bone structure and skin tone.

Lorde - Ummmm, am I the only one who didn't know this pop-diva was only 17?! That aside, she still looked absolutely dashing with her trademark purple lipstick. Deep purples are perfect for Fall/Winter, and as we shift into Spring we will certainly see the color lighten up for a flurry of beautiful purple, violet, and lilac options. Don't forget, the color of the year is Radiant Orchid - a beautiful shade that teeters between the purple and fuscia family.

Rita Ora - I have never been a huge fan of bold, colored liner until now. Rita Ora's eyes simply pop against the gorgeous, metallic lavender liner that she has chosen to pair with her nude lip. Pair it with some bold, black lashes and defined eyebrows and you have yourself a perfect makeup look. This was definitely one of my absolute favorites of the night.

Katy Perry - I honestly think Katy Perry could look good in any color of anything , and she has certainly implemented non-traditional colors into all of those things. However, walking the red carpet this pop queen looked fresh and beautiful, sporting luminized eyes and a baby pink lipstick. And how can you not love her ballerina bun?
